Paris, love, romance and weddings are on everyone’s minds with the marriage of actress Eva Longoria, of Desperate Housewives, and Tony Parker, of the San Antonio Spurs, this weekend.
I am thrilled that Eva chose my book, Chic in Paris, for her bridesmaids’ gifts. What a coincidence that I am in Paris at the same time! I hope to see them around town this week using the red-covered book as their guide.

Hey I’m an Australian and James Packers’ wedding was hugely covered in the media over here. In regards to Erica’s dress it was a white, three tiered Galliano couture dress worth $10 000 AU and you can see a picture here http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2007/06/21/cmPACKER_narrowweb__300×349,0.jpg.

Re: Lauren Davis…I hope, very much, that whoever makes her wedding dress is making it for someone who weighs at least 15 to 20 pounds more. The poor darling looks like a walking cadaver. I cannot WAIT until women free themselves from the burden of feeling that they must be sickly thin to considered attractive and successful. No, I’m not a jealous, bitter, overweight woman – I’m slim, fit and comfortable – would that all women could be, without feeling pressured to look like poor Lauren!! My heart goes out to her. MJ
